The paintings have been dated to 1632-3 by Pepper and measure 78 x 65 cm. Pepper notes that there are copies of this
composition in Rome, Coll. Senatore Bosco; Naples, Coll. Principe della Rocca and numerous versions or close variants
recorded in the literature namely, Florence, Coll. Senatore Ugo Minerbetti; Munich, Alte Pinakothek but now attr. to
Cantarini; Leipzig, Museum der Bildenden Künste; Naples, Capodimonte; Vaduz, Coll. of the Prince of Liechtenstein; La
Valetta, Museo Nazionale.

pp.310-11, number 437 she lists the 21 page inventory of the Zambeccari collection in the palace on the Strada Maggiore.
