Juan de Sevilla also known as The Sigüenza master or Juan de Paralta active c. 1420-50 in Aragon and Castile. 10 panels from the Grajal altarpiece painted c. 1420 for the Cathedral of Sigüenza as commissioned by the bishop Joan Gonzales de Grajal. The stories all relate to St Michael; The episode of the bull on Monte Gargano; The bishop of Siponto awakened in bed ; St Michael transports souls to Heaven; St Anthony, St Bernard, St Agatha, St Lucy, St Barbara and St Ursula.
